dyed an hour-glass shape on front—two thinner black sectors seperated by a wider un-dyed sector. Matching pattern on the back.
on the design:
Peace 9 was meant to be comparable to Peaces 1-5. I used the same dye and similar tying and dyeing methods. The differences are the resulting pattern is a 2-armed (vs 1-armed) spiral and this spiral is in the opposite direction.
on the final product:
Really loved how this one turned out. The white space is very clean and I matched the front and back pattern well. I'd like to try again, but with more-fillled-in arms, and another where the black arms are widers than the white arms.
