tie method:

I tied this exactly the same as Peace 28: simple diagonal pleats.

dye method:

Like Peace 28, I marked out bands 5" in width. Instead of applying dye to an entire band, I only did one half. For adjacent bands, the half of the band that was dyed alternated. The dye application on tied shirt top and bottom was the same.

on the design:

I drew this one out without being sure if it would look even remotely how I intended. My main concern was how distinct the edge would be where the stripes "flip."

on the final product:

Wow! Ok, love how it turned out. It's a unique design that I'd love to explore more further in the future.
