tie method:
I inverted the shirt and then did a clockwise spiral fold centered on the middle of the shirt front.
dye method:
On the front, I dyed 3 sectors (each a bit less than one sixth of the circle). The dye on the back matches the front. Also, I got tried to get dye deep into the folds.
on the design:
I wanted to create a 3-armed spiral similar to Peace 9, except with more solid arms.
on the final product:
The arms came out distinct and fairly solid.
